Munising Area Trail Conditions report for the Alger County area provided by SORVA of Alger County. |
Good overall conditions
Light snowfall
0 general warnings
0 trail warnings
We have been out grooming since Wednesday.
The 6155 electrical issues were also resolved Wednesday.
We think we have the John Deere 6175 issues resolved.
Spent Wednesday night in the groomer barn. I believe we finished 8am.
It has been out since and we are no longer seeing issues.
7 South we have low snow conditions. We groomed yesterday South of Doe Lake Rd and turned around.
The groomer ran in to the Owner of Midway General Store and he said the trail down that way is staying pretty flat.
West towards Chatam and Marquette are also low on snow. 8 in to Chatam trail has been staying pretty flat and grooming when needed.
West of Autrain on 418 then 417 past the Brownstone towards Marquette is still pretty thin on snow. Gravel etc.
419 between Munising and Christmas we do still one persistent water hole to watch out for.
Over all the rest of the trail system is really holding up.
Get out and ride before the next melt down!
